The attributes of letterforms all relate to each other:
weight, color, size, and so on.
These relations continue into relational hierarchy. Everything plays its own part in the message, whether big or small. Visual prominence establishes what order we see things.
Content needs to be read.
Role determines when the content needs to change.
Style reflects culture.
Voice allows the message to speak to the reader.
Put these together, and you have the anatomy of the message.
